TRATERIA TERMS OF SERVICE
Last Updated: July 20, 2026
Important Notice
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing, browsing, registering with or using Trateria.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between:
MARU EVENT TOURISM LLC, a company duly established and licensed in the United Arab Emirates, operating the Trateria travel booking platform (“Trateria,” “we,” “us,” or “our”);
and
the individual or legal entity accessing or using Trateria or purchasing any product or service through Trateria (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”).
By accessing Trateria, creating an account, submitting a booking request, making payment, confirming a booking or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:
1. You have read and understood these Terms;
2. You agree to be legally bound by these Terms;
3. You agree to the applicable Refund, Cancellation and Booking Modification Policy;
4. You agree to any product-specific or supplier-specific terms disclosed before booking;
5. You have authority to accept these Terms for yourself and every traveler included in your booking; and
6. Electronic acceptance of these Terms has the same effect as a written agreement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Trateria or complete a booking.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer right or other legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

The availability of any product or service may vary according to destination, supplier, date, availability, eligibility and applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
2. Trateria’s Role
2.1 Intermediary Services
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the booking confirmation, Trateria acts as an intermediary, booking facilitator or travel agency between the Customer and one or more independent third-party suppliers.
Third-party suppliers may include:
· Airlines;
· Hotels and accommodation providers;
· Tour and activity operators;
· Transportation companies;
· Ticket issuers;
· Travel insurers;
· Visa-processing service providers;
· Payment-service providers;
· eSIM and telecommunications providers; and
· Other travel-related service providers.
The travel service itself is generally provided by the relevant supplier and not by Trateria.
2.2 Supplier Responsibility
The relevant supplier is responsible for operating and providing its travel product or service.
Subject to applicable law, Trateria does not control and is not responsible for a supplier’s:
· Acts or omissions;
· Operational decisions;
· Schedule changes;
· Delays or cancellations;
· Service standards;
· Inventory or availability;
· Safety procedures;
· Admission decisions;
· Insolvency or closure;
· Refund decisions;
· Modification policies; or
· Compliance with promises made directly by the supplier.
2.3 Directly Provided Services
Where Trateria is expressly identified as the direct provider of a particular service, Trateria will be responsible for that service in accordance with these Terms, the applicable booking conditions and mandatory law.
3. Eligibility and Authority
By using Trateria, you represent and warrant that:
1. You are at least 18 years old or have otherwise reached the legal age required to enter into a binding contract;
2. You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms;
3. You are not prohibited from using the services under applicable law;
4. All information you provide is accurate, complete and current;
5. You have authority to make the booking and accept applicable terms for every traveler included in the booking;
6. You will inform all travelers of the applicable booking conditions; and
7. You will be responsible for all payments, instructions and requests made in connection with the booking.
Where you book on behalf of another person, company, organization or group, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that person or entity to these Terms.
4. Customer Accounts
Certain Trateria services may require registration or creation of an account.
You are responsible for:
· Keeping login credentials confidential;
· Maintaining control of your registered email address and telephone number;
· Using secure passwords;
· Preventing unauthorized access;
· Keeping account information current;
· Reviewing booking and payment activity; and
· Informing Trateria promptly of suspected unauthorized use.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless you promptly notify Trateria of unauthorized access and establish that the activity was not caused by your conduct, negligence or disclosure of credentials.
Trateria may require identity verification before allowing account access, processing a booking, changing booking details or issuing a refund.
5. Booking Process
5.1 Booking Requests
Submitting a booking request or completing payment does not necessarily mean that the booking has been finally confirmed.
A booking is confirmed only when Trateria or the relevant supplier issues an official:
· Booking confirmation;
· E-ticket;
· Ticket number;
· Voucher;
· Insurance policy;
· Admission ticket;
· Supplier confirmation number; or
· Other final confirmation document.
5.2 Pending Bookings
A booking may remain pending while Trateria or the supplier:
· Confirms availability;
· Verifies pricing;
· Reviews payment;
· Conducts fraud or compliance checks;
· Issues tickets or vouchers;
· Confirms passenger eligibility; or
· Completes other operational requirements.
During this period, price and availability may change.
5.3 Failure to Confirm
If a supplier cannot confirm a requested service after payment, Trateria may, subject to availability and applicable law:
· Offer a reasonably comparable alternative;
· Request payment of any price difference;
· Refund the amount paid for the unconfirmed service;
· Provide account credit with the Customer’s agreement; or
· Cancel the unconfirmed booking.
Trateria is not liable for loss of availability, supplier price changes or consequential expenses arising before final confirmation, except where caused directly by Trateria’s breach or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
5.4 Multiple Components
A booking may contain multiple independent components.
Each flight, hotel, room, tour, ticket, transfer or other component may be subject to:
· A separate supplier;
· A separate booking reference;
· Different confirmation status;
· Different cancellation conditions; and
· Different refund or modification rules.
Confirmation or cancellation of one component does not automatically confirm or cancel another component.
6. Accuracy of Traveler and Booking Information
You must provide all traveler and booking information exactly as required by the relevant supplier.
This may include:
· Full legal name;
· Date of birth;
· Gender or title where required;
· Nationality;
· Passport or identification number;
· Passport expiry date;
· Contact details;
· Travel dates;
· Destination;
· Loyalty-program details;
· Special assistance requirements; and
· Any other information requested during booking.
Names for flight bookings should match the traveler’s passport or other required travel document.
You must carefully review all information before submitting payment and immediately after receiving confirmation.
Errors may result in:
· Rejection of the booking;
· Denied boarding;
· Denied check-in;
· Cancellation;
· Additional fees;
· Reticketing;
· Requirement to make a new booking; or
· Total loss of the booking value.
Trateria will use reasonable efforts to request a correction, but correction is subject to supplier approval and may not be possible.
The Customer is responsible for supplier penalties, fare differences, Trateria amendment fees and other costs resulting from incorrect information supplied by the Customer.
7. Prices and Availability
7.1 Displayed Prices
Prices displayed on Trateria are based on information received from suppliers, distribution systems and service providers.
Displayed prices may change until the booking is finally confirmed and ticketed or issued.
7.2 Included and Excluded Amounts
The total amount payable may include, as applicable:
· Supplier price;
· Fare;
· Room rate;
· Taxes;
· Government charges;
· Airport charges;
· Fuel or carrier-imposed surcharges;
· Resort or destination fees;
· Trateria service fees;
· Booking or processing fees;
· Payment fees;
· Insurance premiums;
· Optional extras; and
· Other disclosed charges.
Certain locally payable charges may not be collected by Trateria and may be payable directly to the supplier or local authority.
These may include:
· Tourism taxes;
· City taxes;
· Resort fees;
· Security deposits;
· Local transportation fees;
· Baggage fees;
· Visa fees; or
· Other destination charges.
7.3 Pricing Errors
Trateria may correct an obvious pricing, description, currency, tax, technical or system error before or after submission of a booking request.
If a material pricing error is identified before final confirmation, Trateria may:
· Offer the booking at the correct price;
· Offer a suitable alternative; or
· Cancel the booking and refund the amount received.
Where a confirmed booking is affected by an obvious and material pricing error that a reasonable customer should have recognized, Trateria may take such corrective action as permitted by applicable law.
7.4 Currency Display
Prices may be displayed in a selected currency for convenience.
The supplier, payment provider or Customer’s bank may process the payment in another currency.
Currency conversions may be based on exchange rates determined by:
· Trateria;
· The supplier;
· The card scheme;
· The payment provider; or
· The Customer’s bank.
Exchange-rate differences and foreign-transaction charges are the Customer’s responsibility unless caused by an incorrect charge made by Trateria.
8. Payment Terms
8.1 Payment Authorization
By submitting payment details, you authorize Trateria, its payment-service provider or the relevant supplier to charge the total amount shown at checkout, including applicable:
· Taxes;
· Fees;
· Surcharges;
· Optional services;
· Deposits; and
· Other disclosed charges.
8.2 Accepted Payment Methods
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout and may vary by:
· Customer location;
· Currency;
· Product;
· Booking amount;
· Supplier;
· Risk review; and
· Payment-provider availability.
Trateria may add, remove, restrict or suspend a payment method at any time.
8.3 Payment Verification
Trateria may request additional information to verify:
· Customer identity;
· Cardholder identity;
· Ownership of payment funds;
· Billing address;
· Source of funds;
· Transaction legitimacy; or
· Compliance with applicable law.
Trateria may delay, reject or cancel a transaction if verification is not completed or if fraud, sanctions, money laundering or other unlawful activity is suspected.
8.4 Third-Party Payment
If payment is made by a person who is not included in the booking, Trateria may request written authorization and identification from the payer and Customer.
Trateria may reject third-party payments where they create fraud or compliance concerns.
8.5 Failed or Reversed Payments
A booking may be cancelled where:
· Payment is declined;
· Payment authorization expires;
· Funds are not received;
· A transfer is incomplete;
· The payment provider reverses the transaction;
· The payment is disputed; or
· The payment is later identified as unauthorized or fraudulent.
The Customer remains responsible for amounts due for any service already issued or used.
9. Trateria Fees
Trateria may charge separate fees for services including:
· Booking;
· Reservation;
· Consultation;
· Ticketing;
· Processing;
· Customer support;
· After-hours assistance;
· Modification;
· Cancellation;
· Refund processing;
· Reissuance;
· Visa assistance;
· Corporate travel administration; and
· Other services disclosed during booking.
Unless expressly stated otherwise or required by law, Trateria fees become non-refundable once:
· The relevant service has been performed;
· The booking has been processed;
· The ticket or voucher has been issued; or
· Trateria has incurred the relevant work or cost.
A supplier’s refund of its own service price does not automatically require Trateria to refund a separate Trateria fee.
10. Booking Confirmation and Customer Review
You must review the booking confirmation immediately after receipt.
You must check:
· Traveler names;
· Dates;
· Times;
· Routes;
· Airports;
· Terminals;
· Destinations;
· Hotel and room details;
· Number of travelers or guests;
· Baggage allowance;
· Meeting points;
· Cancellation conditions;
· Supplier information; and
· Any other relevant booking details.
Any suspected error must be reported promptly through an official Trateria support channel.
Failure to report an error promptly may result in higher correction costs or loss of the ability to correct the booking.
11. Supplier Terms and Product-Specific Conditions
Each booking is subject to the relevant supplier’s applicable:
· Fare rules;
· Rate rules;
· Conditions of carriage;
· House rules;
· Admission conditions;
· Safety rules;
· Cancellation policy;
· Modification policy;
· No-show rules;
· Baggage rules;
· Check-in requirements;
· Insurance policy wording; and
· Other terms and conditions.
Supplier and product-specific conditions displayed at checkout, in a quotation, confirmation, ticket, voucher or policy form part of your agreement.
Where a product-specific term conflicts with a general provision of these Terms, the more specific product term will apply to that product, except where prohibited by mandatory law.
12. Flight Bookings
Flight bookings are subject to the applicable airline’s conditions of carriage and fare rules.
You are responsible for reviewing:
· Flight dates and times;
· Airport and terminal;
· Minimum check-in time;
· Boarding deadline;
· Baggage allowance;
· Transit requirements;
· Visa requirements;
· Passport validity;
· Health requirements;
· Ticket sequence rules; and
· Airline-specific conditions.
12.1 Flight Segments in Sequence
Airlines generally require flight sectors to be used in the sequence shown on the ticket.
Failure to use one sector may cause the airline to cancel the remaining sectors without refund.
12.2 Codeshare Flights
A flight may be marketed by one airline and operated by another airline.
The operating airline’s procedures may apply to check-in, baggage, onboard service, seating, delays and operational matters.
12.3 Separate Tickets and Self-Connections
Flights issued under separate ticket numbers or booking references are independent bookings.
Where a Customer creates a self-connection, the Customer accepts the risk that:
· Baggage may need to be collected and rechecked;
· Transit immigration may be required;
· A delay may cause a missed connection;
· One airline may not assist with another airline’s ticket; and
· Cancellation or delay of one ticket may not make another ticket refundable.
Trateria is not responsible for missed separate-ticket connections unless Trateria expressly sold and guaranteed the connection as a protected product.
12.4 Schedule Changes
Airlines may change flight schedules, aircraft, airport, terminal, route or operating carrier.
Trateria may communicate changes received from the airline using the contact details provided by the Customer.
The Customer remains responsible for checking flight status directly with the airline before travel.
13. Hotel and Accommodation Bookings
Accommodation bookings are subject to the property’s rate and house rules.
The Customer is responsible for reviewing:
· Check-in and check-out times;
· Guest names;
· Occupancy limits;
· Child and infant policies;
· Extra-bed conditions;
· Meal plans;
· Deposit requirements;
· Identification requirements;
· Local taxes;
· Resort or destination fees;
· Damage policies;
· Cancellation deadlines; and
· No-show rules.
The property may request a security deposit or payment card at check-in.
Trateria is not responsible for charges imposed directly by the property for damage, additional guests, local taxes, minibar use, room service or other incidental services.
Photographs, facilities and room descriptions are supplied by or based on information from the property or supplier. Actual appearance may vary due to renovation, room allocation, season or operational conditions.
14. Tours, Activities, Attractions and Events
Tours, activities, attraction tickets and event tickets may be subject to strict:
· Date and time restrictions;
· Capacity limitations;
· Age, weight or height restrictions;
· Health requirements;
· Dress codes;
· Identification requirements;
· Meeting-point instructions;
· Arrival deadlines; and
· Safety conditions.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that each participant meets these requirements.
The supplier may refuse participation without refund where a Customer:
· Arrives late;
· Misses a pickup;
· Attends the wrong location;
· Does not provide required identification;
· Does not meet safety or participation requirements;
· Is intoxicated;
· Acts abusively;
· Refuses to follow instructions; or
· Creates a safety or operational risk.
Weather-related decisions are generally made by the operator. A Customer’s decision not to participate due to personal concern about weather does not automatically create a refund right.
15. Visa Assistance
Any visa-related service provided by Trateria is an administrative assistance service only.
Trateria is not an embassy, consulate, immigration authority or government body.
Trateria does not guarantee:
· Visa approval;
· Appointment availability;
· Processing time;
· Acceptance of documents;
· Entry into any country; or
· Any decision by an immigration authority.
The Customer is responsible for:
· Supplying complete and accurate documents;
· Meeting deadlines;
· Attending required appointments;
· Providing biometric information where required;
· Verifying entry and transit rules; and
· Obtaining approval before travel.
Visa refusal, delay or withdrawal does not automatically make related flights, hotels, tours or other bookings refundable.
16. Travel Insurance
Where travel insurance is offered, the insurance contract is between the Customer and the relevant insurer.
Insurance coverage is subject to:
· Policy wording;
· Exclusions;
· Eligibility conditions;
· Coverage dates;
· Disclosure requirements;
· Claim procedures; and
· Applicable insurance regulations.
Trateria does not make the insurer’s claim decision and does not guarantee payment of any claim.
Customers should review the full policy wording before purchase.
17. Travel Documents and Entry Requirements
The Customer is solely responsible for obtaining and carrying all required:
· Passports;
· Visas;
· Transit visas;
· Residence permits;
· Return or onward tickets;
· Health certificates;
· Vaccination records;
· Travel authorizations;
· Parental consents;
· Minor travel documents;
· Insurance documents; and
· Other documents required for travel.
The Customer is responsible for checking requirements with the relevant:
· Embassy;
· Consulate;
· Immigration authority;
· Airline;
· Government authority; and
· Destination authority.
Information provided by Trateria regarding travel requirements is general assistance only and may change without notice.
Trateria is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, deportation, detention, fines, additional travel expenses or loss caused by missing, incorrect, expired or insufficient travel documentation, except where directly caused by incorrect information Trateria was legally required to provide and on which the Customer reasonably relied.
Failure to obtain required documents does not override a non-refundable booking condition.
18. Health, Safety and Fitness to Travel
The Customer is responsible for determining whether each traveler is medically and physically fit to travel and participate in booked activities.
The Customer must disclose relevant accessibility or assistance requirements before booking.
Trateria does not provide medical advice.
Customers should obtain appropriate professional advice concerning:
· Vaccinations;
· Medication;
· Pregnancy;
· Mobility;
· Disability access;
· Medical conditions;
· High-risk activities; and
· Destination health risks.
Suppliers may refuse service where participation would create a material health or safety risk.
19. Special Requests
Requests concerning matters such as:
· Seats;
· Meals;
· Bedding;
· Room location;
· Adjoining rooms;
· Accessibility;
· Airport assistance;
· Early check-in;
· Late check-out;
· Celebration arrangements; or
· Dietary requirements
are requests only unless expressly confirmed in writing by the relevant supplier.
Trateria will use reasonable efforts to communicate special requests but does not guarantee fulfillment.
20. Cancellations, Modifications and No-Shows
Cancellation, modification and no-show rules are governed by:
1. The product-specific terms disclosed at booking;
2. The relevant supplier’s rules;
3. Trateria’s Refund, Cancellation and Booking Modification Policy; and
4. Applicable mandatory law.
Many travel products are non-refundable, non-changeable or subject to substantial penalties.
All cancellation and modification requests must be submitted through an official Trateria support channel.
A request is not effective until it is received and processed or acknowledged as appropriate.
Requests received outside operating hours may be treated as received on the next business day.
Verbal requests or communications sent to unofficial accounts or individual employees may not constitute valid notice.
Failure to use a booked service does not automatically cancel the booking and does not create a right to a refund.
No-shows may result in forfeiture of the entire booking value and cancellation of remaining services.
21. Refunds
Refunds are governed by Trateria’s separate **Refund, Cancellation and Booking Modification Policy**, which forms part of these Terms.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law:
· Refunds are available only where permitted by supplier rules and applicable booking conditions;
· Trateria does not guarantee supplier approval;
· Trateria is not generally required to advance a supplier-funded refund before receiving the refundable amount from the supplier;
· The refundable amount is limited to the amount approved and recovered from the supplier;
· Supplier penalties and non-refundable costs will be deducted;
· Trateria fees may remain non-refundable;
· Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method;
· Exchange-rate differences may affect the final amount; and
· Processing times are estimates rather than guarantees.
Where there is a conflict between this section and the detailed Refund Policy, the detailed Refund Policy will apply.
22. Supplier Cancellations and Service Disruption
A supplier may cancel, delay, reschedule, relocate, substitute or modify a service.
Available remedies may include:
· Rebooking;
· Replacement;
· Rerouting;
· Travel credit;
· Voucher;
· Partial refund;
· Full refund; or
· Another remedy required by applicable law.
The supplier determines available remedies, subject to mandatory law.
Cancellation or disruption of one service does not automatically make separately booked services refundable.
For example, cancellation of a flight does not automatically create a refund right for a separately booked:
· Hotel;
· Tour;
· Transfer;
· Event;
· Visa service;
· Insurance policy; or
· Separate flight ticket.
Customers should maintain suitable travel insurance for disruption and consequential losses.
23. Force Majeure
Trateria will not be responsible for delay, cancellation, unavailability or failure caused by an event outside its reasonable control.
Such events may include:
· War;
· Armed conflict;
· Terrorism;
· Civil unrest;
· Government action;
· Sanctions;
· Border closures;
· Epidemics;
· Public-health emergencies;
· Natural disasters;
· Extreme weather;
· Fire;
· Flood;
· Airport or airspace closure;
· Strikes;
· Industrial action;
· Utility failure;
· Telecommunications failure;
· Cyber incidents;
· Supplier insolvency;
· Transportation disruption; or
· Similar circumstances beyond Trateria’s reasonable control.
Force Majeure does not automatically entitle the Customer to a cash refund.
Any available remedy will depend on:
· Supplier terms;
· Amounts recoverable from the supplier;
· Applicable law;
· Whether the service can be rescheduled; and
· Whether credit or vouchers are offered.
Trateria may facilitate alternatives but is not required to fund a supplier’s obligations from its own resources except where required by law.
24. Promotions, Discounts and Credits
Promotions, discount codes, referral benefits, vouchers and account credits may be subject to separate conditions including:
· Eligibility;
· Validity period;
· Minimum spend;
· Product restrictions;
· Geographic restrictions;
· One-time use;
· Customer-specific use;
· Non-transferability;
· Excluded taxes or fees; and
· Anti-abuse rules.
Promotional value is generally not redeemable for cash unless expressly stated or required by law.
Where a booking using a promotion is refunded, the promotional portion may not be refundable or reinstated.
Trateria may cancel or reverse promotional benefits obtained through:
· Duplicate accounts;
· Self-referral;
· False information;
· Coordinated abuse;
· Unauthorized automation;
· Payment fraud;
· Chargeback abuse; or
· Other manipulation.
25. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
· Make fraudulent, speculative or fake bookings;
· Use stolen or unauthorized payment methods;
· Impersonate another person;
· Provide false documents or information;
· Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions;
· Attempt unauthorized access to Trateria systems;
· Circumvent security or access controls;
· Introduce malware or malicious code;
· Scrape, crawl or extract data without permission;
· Use bots or automated tools without written authorization;
· Interfere with platform operation;
· Reverse engineer platform technology;
· Resell services without authorization;
· Use Trateria for unlawful activity;
· Abuse employees, suppliers or other customers;
· Submit false claims or complaints;
· Manipulate refunds or chargebacks; or
· Violate applicable sanctions or anti-money-laundering laws.
Trateria may suspend or terminate access, cancel bookings or take legal action where prohibited conduct is suspected, subject to applicable law and supplier rules.
26. Fraud Prevention and Compliance
Trateria may conduct checks required for:
· Fraud prevention;
· Payment security;
· Identity verification;
· Sanctions compliance;
· Anti-money-laundering compliance;
· Supplier requirements;
· Regulatory obligations; and
· Risk management.
Trateria may request:
· Identification;
· Proof of address;
· Payment-card verification;
· Bank confirmation;
· Source-of-funds information;
· Corporate documents;
· Beneficial ownership information; or
· Additional supporting information.
A booking or refund may be delayed, rejected, cancelled, blocked or reported where required by applicable law, competent authority, court order, payment provider or compliance obligation.
27. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers should contact Trateria before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback and provide Trateria with a reasonable opportunity to investigate.
A chargeback does not automatically cancel a booking.
Trateria may contest a chargeback where:
· The booking was properly provided;
· The product was clearly disclosed as non-refundable;
· The Customer failed to cancel correctly;
· A supplier refund remains pending;
· The Customer used or retained the service;
· The transaction was properly authorized; or
· The dispute is otherwise inconsistent with the booking record.
The Customer remains responsible for valid amounts due and any lawful recovery costs resulting from an improper or abusive chargeback.
Trateria may suspend accounts or restrict future bookings where there is repeated or abusive chargeback activity.
Nothing in this section restricts the Customer’s lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrectly processed transaction.
28. Customer Conduct During Travel
Customers and travelers must comply with:
· Applicable laws;
· Supplier instructions;
· Airline rules;
· Hotel house rules;
· Safety procedures;
· Local customs;
· Immigration requirements; and
· Reasonable standards of conduct.
A supplier may refuse, remove or terminate service where a traveler:
· Acts unlawfully;
· Threatens safety;
· Harasses others;
· Causes damage;
· Is excessively intoxicated;
· Refuses to follow instructions; or
· Materially disrupts operations.
Where service is refused or terminated due to the Customer’s conduct, no refund will normally be payable and the Customer may be responsible for resulting costs or damage.
29. Customer Reviews and Submitted Content
Where Trateria allows reviews, comments, photographs or other content, the Customer grants Trateria a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format and use that content for platform operation and promotion.
The Customer must not submit content that:
· Is false or misleading;
· Infringes intellectual property;
· Violates privacy;
· Is defamatory;
· Is unlawful;
· Contains threats or abuse;
· Includes confidential payment data;
· Contains malware; or
· Is unrelated to a genuine customer experience.
Trateria may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms.
30. Intellectual Property
All rights in Trateria and its content belong to MARU EVENT TOURISM LLC, its licensors or relevant rights holders.
Protected material may include:
· Trateria trademarks and logos;
· Website design;
· Software;
· Databases;
· Text;
· Graphics;
· Images;
· Videos;
· Booking tools;
· Product descriptions;
· Reports;
· User-interface elements; and
· Other platform materials.
You may use Trateria only for personal or authorized business booking purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, commercially exploit, scrape or create derivative works from Trateria content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party supplier names, logos and content remain the property of their respective owners.
31. Third-Party Websites and Services
Trateria may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, payment services or platforms.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Trateria is not responsible for the content, security, availability or practices of third-party websites or services, except to the extent required by applicable law.
A link or integration does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
32. Platform Availability
Trateria is provided on an “as available” basis.
Trateria does not guarantee that the platform will always be:
· Uninterrupted;
· Error-free;
· Secure;
· Compatible with every device;
· Available in every location; or
· Free from maintenance or technical issues.
Trateria may temporarily suspend or restrict the platform for:
· Maintenance;
· Updates;
· Security;
· Supplier integration changes;
· Regulatory compliance;
· System failure; or
· Other operational reasons.
The “as available” wording does not exclude Trateria’s obligation to provide paid services in accordance with applicable law and confirmed booking conditions.
33. Disclaimer of Information
Travel descriptions, schedules, images, ratings, maps and supplier information may be provided by third parties.
Trateria uses reasonable efforts to display accurate information but does not guarantee that all third-party information is complete, current or free from error.
Travel conditions, entry rules, schedules and supplier facilities may change without notice.
The Customer should independently verify material travel information before departure.
Nothing on Trateria constitutes legal, immigration, medical, tax or financial advice.
34. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trateria’s aggregate liability arising from a booking or affected service will be limited to the amount paid to Trateria for the directly affected booking component.
Trateria will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses, including:
· Loss of profit;
· Loss of income;
· Loss of business;
· Loss of opportunity;
· Loss of enjoyment;
· Emotional distress;
· Replacement travel;
· Missed connections;
· Missed events;
· Separately booked accommodation;
· Visa-related losses;
· Data roaming costs;
· Loss of personal property; or
· Other independently arranged expenses.
Trateria will not be liable for the acts, omissions, insolvency or operational failure of an independent supplier except where Trateria is legally responsible.
These limitations do not apply to:
· Fraud;
· Wilful misconduct;
· Gross negligence;
· Death or personal injury caused by liability that cannot be excluded;
· Mandatory consumer rights; or
· Any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
35. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless MARU EVENT TOURISM LLC, its officers, employees and representatives from reasonable losses, liabilities, penalties, claims and costs arising from:
· Your material breach of these Terms;
· Your unlawful or fraudulent conduct;
· False information or documents provided by you;
· Unauthorized use of a payment method;
· Damage caused by you or a traveler in your booking;
· Your infringement of third-party rights;
· Your violation of supplier rules; or
· Claims made by a traveler for whom you booked without proper authority.
This indemnity does not apply to losses caused by Trateria’s own fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or breach of mandatory law.
36. Complaints and Claims
Customers should submit complaints promptly through an official Trateria support channel.
A complaint should include:
· Booking reference;
· Traveler name;
· Description of the issue;
· Date and location;
· Supporting documents;
· Photographs or video where relevant;
· Supplier correspondence; and
· Requested resolution.
Where a problem occurs during travel, the Customer must, where reasonably possible:
1. Notify the supplier immediately;
2. Notify Trateria promptly; and
3. Allow the supplier and Trateria a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remedy the issue.
Failure to report a remediable issue during the service may affect the ability to investigate or provide a remedy.
Any contractual notification period in these Terms does not reduce a longer mandatory period available under applicable law.
Trateria will use reasonable efforts to investigate complaints fairly and within a reasonable time, but supplier-dependent investigations may take longer.
37. Electronic Communications
You agree that Trateria may communicate with you electronically through:
· Email;
· SMS;
· WhatsApp or similar messaging services;
· Website notifications;
· Account notifications; or
· Other contact methods provided by you.
Electronic communications may include:
· Booking confirmations;
· Schedule changes;
· Payment notices;
· Security alerts;
· Supplier updates;
· Cancellation information;
· Refund updates; and
· Legally required notices.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and monitoring communications before and during travel.
A communication sent to the contact details provided by you will generally be treated as properly sent, subject to applicable law.
38. Privacy and Personal Data
Trateria processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws.
To complete a booking, Trateria may share necessary personal data with:
· Airlines;
· Hotels;
· Tour operators;
· Insurers;
· Visa service providers;
· Payment providers;
· Technology providers;
· Government authorities; and
· Other suppliers involved in the booking.
Some recipients may be located outside the Customer’s country of residence.
By submitting traveler information, you confirm that you are authorized to provide that information and have informed the relevant traveler of Trateria’s Privacy Policy.
39. Suspension and Termination
Trateria may suspend or terminate an account, restrict access or reject future bookings where reasonably necessary due to:
· Breach of these Terms;
· Suspected fraud;
· Payment default;
· Chargeback abuse;
· Security risk;
· Unlawful conduct;
· Supplier restriction;
· Sanctions concerns;
· Repeated abusive behavior; or
· Regulatory requirements.
Termination does not cancel the Customer’s obligation to pay valid outstanding amounts.
Confirmed bookings may remain subject to supplier terms even after account suspension.
40. Changes to Trateria Services
Trateria may add, modify, suspend or discontinue platform features or services.
Such changes will not remove rights already accrued under a confirmed booking, except where required by law or necessary due to events outside Trateria’s reasonable control.
41. Amendments to These Terms
Trateria may update these Terms to reflect changes in:
· Law;
· Regulation;
· Supplier requirements;
· Platform features;
· Payment procedures;
· Security practices; or
· Business operations.
The updated Terms will take effect on the date stated in the revised version.
Unless otherwise required by law:
· The version accepted when a booking was confirmed will apply to that booking; and
· The updated version will apply to future use and future bookings.
Continued general use of the website after an update may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms, but material changes affecting a new purchase should be presented before the relevant booking is completed.
42. Governing Law
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws of the Emirate of Dubai.
This provision does not deprive a consumer of any mandatory protection that applies under applicable law.
43. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction
Before commencing court proceedings, the parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute directly.
The complaining party should provide written details of:
· The booking;
· The nature of the dispute;
· Relevant evidence; and
· The requested resolution.
The parties should allow a reasonable period, generally up to 30 days, for direct review and settlement discussions.
If the dispute is not resolved, the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates will have jurisdiction, subject to:
· Any mandatory consumer-protection jurisdiction;
· Any jurisdiction that cannot legally be excluded; and
· The right of a Customer to submit a complaint to a competent regulatory or consumer-protection authority.
Nothing in these Terms prevents Trateria from seeking urgent injunctive or protective relief where necessary.
44. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
45. No Waiver
Failure or delay by Trateria in enforcing a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
A waiver is effective only if given in writing by an authorized Trateria representative.
46. Assignment
The Customer may not transfer or assign rights or obligations under these Terms without Trateria’s prior written consent.
Trateria may transfer or assign its rights and obligations to:
· An affiliate;
· A successor;
· A purchaser of the relevant business; or
· Another properly authorized entity,
provided that the transfer does not unlawfully reduce the Customer’s rights.
47. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the following, form the entire agreement relating to the booking:
· Refund, Cancellation and Booking Modification Policy;
· Privacy Policy;
· Booking confirmation;
· Supplier terms;
· Fare or rate rules;
· Ticket or voucher conditions;
· Payment terms; and
· Product-specific disclosures.
They replace prior discussions or representations concerning the same subject matter, except for written commitments expressly incorporated into the booking.
48. Language
These Terms may be made available in more than one language.
Where legally permitted and unless otherwise expressly stated, the English version will be used to interpret the commercial meaning of these Terms.
However, this section does not override any mandatory language or interpretation requirement under applicable UAE law.
